What will the recycled water be used for?
Can use recycled water for:
- Irrigation of the golf course
- Irrigation of gardens
- Toilet flushing; and
- Laundry Washing (Cold Tap Only)
Must NOT use recycled water for:
- Drinking
- Cooking
- Personal washing & bathing
- Indoor house cleaning
- Filling swimming pools
- Recreation activities
- Evaporative coolers
- Washing pets
- Animal drinking water
- Washing hard surfaces, including cars
- Fire Fighting
Prohibited Substance Rules
Under NO circumstances should any form of Wipe, (“flushable” or otherwise) be introduced into the sewer system.!!!!
The following substances should NOT be put down the sink, toilets or drain:
- Ammonia
- Anti-freeze chemicals
- Butter
- Baking goods
- Bleach
- Corrosive Substances (Acidic or Caustic)
- Coffee Grinds
- Chlorine
- Condoms
- Cat Litter (including Flushable Cat Litter)
- Dairy Products
- Egg Shells
- Explosive
- Fats (including Meat Fats)
- Food Scraps
- Flammable Substances
- Feminine Hygiene Products
- Grease
- General Garbage
